Star Wars: Luke Bespin
I recently finished a Luke Bespin costume for Sydney Supanova. Here are some pics to get you started. I'll update this page with more information and photos soon!

I made the boot tops, the pants, the jacket, the vest, and the holster! I had the most fun making the holster and pouches. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be, and I can't wait to make more holsters!
The fabric is a cotton with a slight stretch. We thought it would be more comfortable with a little stretch in it, and so far it's been great! The pants were just a standard mens pants pattern, with pockets added to the front, and adjusted to fit better.
The jacket pattern is the Falcon pattern, with much alteration. I needed to remove one of the seams down the back, add the pockets, and the cuffs, and make it shorter.
The boot tops were relatively easy to put together, but fiddly to attach. I started out with men's suede look slippers, and bought some suede to match. I then drafted the shape, cut it out and glued the pieces on (that was the fiddly part).
The belt, holster & pouches I made from scratch. I bought a hide of veg tanned leather, cut and dyed it, and sewed it all together. The buckle was cut from thin aluminium from a local hardware store.
Please check back soon! I'll be posting more pics and things soon!
