After finishing my jedi robes, I thought it might be nice to have an alternative Star Wars costume, since my local Fan Force seems to be involved with a lot of things, like parades and charity work. The last thing I want to do is wear the multiple layered jedi robes on a really hot day, because I would probably faint! I decided on Leia's Ceremonial gown because it looks much more practical for a hot day, and I wanted an easily recognisable original trilogy costume. The hairpiece also looks like fun to make. I only have shoulder length hair, so for most costumes, I have to wear a wig. This seems like an easy way to hide that fact.

I finally got some better pictures of this costume from a couple of different events. I plan to remake the dress itself, and get a new necklace, and also fix up the hair so that it's larger and so it's easier to do. I favour my jedi costume over this, so it has only been worn a few times.

I made this for the 10th Annual Costumers' Ball in August 2006.

I was surfing ebay, and I came across these great shoes for $5.00. They aren't leather, but they are silver and in my size, so I just had to buy them.

I did some screencaps and lightened the images to show the details.
